Our Story
Jumbo Bags Limited was established in 1988, and since then it is still the local leading supplier of polypropylene ropes and big bags.
We were one of the first local companies to introduce big bags to the Maltese market. Since they were introduced over 30 years ago, their use continued to grow substantially – and still to this day, they are one of the most sought-after bags in a number of industries.
Our big bags can store various products from a range of industries, and offer protection from humidity, electrostatic hazards and external factors. They also prolong shelf life of expirable goods and assure safe storage and transportation with no loss of quality.
Our jute yarn material varies in weight and thickness and is mainly used for the production of fireworks. Due to the strong nature of the jute yarn, it also acts as filler yarn for the carpet industry, as well as for binding packed bags and as cable binding.
